PHLEGM (band)

PHLEGM (USA) A brief history stolen from the Phlegm MySpace page. Formed in 1988 by Jim Fleet the band including Steve Couchier, Pete Blaise and Bo Cameri recorded the Satans Rectum demo after playing a few shows (including the legendary Monsters of Shit with Anal Cunt, Satans Warriors, Shit Scum, etc. Later that year Tomas Elefsiades joined the band and in 1989 they recorded Clothes Hanger Abortion. They continued to play the New England scene that year. After a few line up changes the band was set with Fred Ordonez and Andy Jones so touring the rest of the US was the agenda for 1990. In January 1991 Consumed by the Dead was released and backed up again with a US tour, later that year Masterpiece of Mutilation was released. The following year new material was written in between touring but it was never recorded in a studio (though there are some live tapes around). Most of the band was incarcerated in 1992 for drug violations and are still in prison. (I can't vouch for that last bit about jail). Known Releases:

MDK (band)

MDK (Sao Paulo, Brazil) Formed in 1997 and are still very active in the underground. Predominantly the line-up consisted of Andre/Drums, Thales/Bass and Boca/Vocals. Recently (2006) Marco has taken over Bass. M.D.K. Play a very chaotic, frenzied style of goregrind with elements of deathgrind. The Name was inspired by the acronym "Murder Death Kill" which was slang used by New York Police and Medical Doctors to tag victims of violent crimes. Releases so far:

7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA noisecore band formed circa 1989 by Mick Hollow in Australia. Various Members include (??). Mick relocated to Germany in 199? Early 7MON was extremely harsh noise that later devolped into "Blur-core". Most releases contain hundreds of songs that consisted of short blast of drums, guitar and/or bass and shouted vocals with lyrics consisting of 10 words or less. Known Releases:

REGURGITATE (BAND)

REGURGITATE (Stockholm, Sweden) Pathological Goregrind band formed circa 1991. Early releases were very raw goregrind with heavily pitchshifted vocals. The Band split up in 1996 and then reformed in 1999 with a more grindcore oriented sound. They are currently still quite active recording and releasing music. Early releases:
